Per-Tool Pricing Breakdown

Setmore

Setmore publishes two tiers openly:

  • Free — $0 per user, billed monthly (supports up to 4 users)
  • Pro — $5 per user, billed annually (unlimited users)

Of the tools in this guide, Setmore’s Pro tier is among the lowest published per-user prices. No recurring complaints stood out in the reviews we scanned.

SimplyBook.me

SimplyBook.me’s pricing page exists but pricing requires contacting their sales team — no per-plan figures are publicly bound to named tiers. You’ll need to reach out directly to get a number. Some users report friction around reliability and bugs, worth raising on a sales call.

Book Like A Boss

Book Like A Boss publishes a single plan at:

  • Book Like A Boss — $8.50, billed annually

That is the only price captured from their pricing page (shown as the calculator default view). No additional tiers were captured.

Some users report friction with scheduling and dispatch features.

Appointlet

Appointlet publishes one paid plan — Premium — at two billing options:

  • $12 per member, billed monthly
  • $9 per member, billed annually

Choosing annual billing over monthly lowers the per-member rate from $12 to $9. No recurring complaints stood out in the reviews we scanned.

Appointy

Appointy publishes three tiers, all billed annually:

  • Growth — $19.99, billed annually
  • Professional — $49.99, billed annually
  • Enterprise — $79.99, billed annually

Prices step up from Growth through to Enterprise. We don’t have third-party review data for Appointy.

Calendly

Calendly publishes two seat-based price points, both billed annually:

  • Standard — $10 per seat, billed annually
  • Teams — $16 per seat, billed annually

Both figures appear under the same captured plan name. Calendly also offers a free tier (noted in their captured features as “Sign up for free”), though no $0 price was captured in the pricing data. Some users report friction around price and value — worth factoring into your per-seat math before committing.

Acuity Scheduling

Acuity’s pricing page does not publish per-plan prices for its named tiers — those require contacting sales. The page’s headline figure states plans start at $16/month, and a 7-day free trial is mentioned. For exact tier pricing, you’ll need to go through their sales process.

Some users report friction with scheduling and dispatch, the mobile app, customer support, price/value, and features and functionality — a broad enough list that it’s worth testing the trial carefully before committing.

Square Appointments

Square Appointments publishes three tiers, all per location and billed monthly:

  • Free — $0 per location, billed monthly
  • Plus — $49 per location, billed monthly
  • Premium — $149 per location, billed monthly

Pricing is location-based rather than per-user or per-seat, which is a different structure from most other tools in this guide. We don’t have usable third-party review data for Square Appointments.

TidyCal

TidyCal lists four plan names — Free, Individual Lifetime, Agency Lifetime, and Pro — but per-plan prices aren’t published in the captured data — all four plans are marked quote-only in our pull. Check TidyCal’s pricing page directly for current figures. Some users report friction with customer support, scheduling and dispatch, price/value, features and functionality, and ease of use.

The Transparent-Pricing vs. Sales-Quote Split

Of the nine tools covered here, six publish at least some prices openly: Setmore, Book Like A Boss, Appointlet, Appointy, Calendly, and Square Appointments. You can read their numbers, compare them in the table above, and budget without a sales conversation.

Two tools require contacting sales for plan-level pricing: SimplyBook.me (no per-plan prices are publicly bound to tiers) and Acuity Scheduling (named tiers are demo/quote-only, with only a “starting at $16/month” headline visible on the page).

TidyCal also publishes no per-plan prices in our captured data — its plans are quote-only in the pull; visit their site directly for current figures.

If price transparency is a deciding factor for you, the six tools with published pricing give you a clear starting point for comparison.
